When will I fly to the other side of the wall?

……

I like this poem by 三毛. Will there be anyone that important in my life to make me give up whatever I have or going to do? Right now I am still inside the walls.

I spent a few days in Morocco this summer. It is not the best place for tourists, but surly I had a lot of fun.  When I was in Essaouira, a coastal city in Morocco, I was invitied to a small repair store opened by some local people (they are also selling something not entirely legal there). They sang songs to praise their god with hand-made guinbri, one of the most common stringed instruments found in West Africa and used a cassette tape to make sounds! I watched them sang, smoked and drank (all in this tiny space, human being is really flexible). Really interesting cultural observation. I recorded some of their songs and have uploaded them toyoutube. Enjoy!
